Dhwani Desai

Dhwani Desai is a Software Engineer at Barclays since August 2023, participating in a comprehensive one-year development program focused on technology training. Prior experience includes serving as a Behaviour Support Therapist at Private ABA Services, where Dhwani supported individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other behavioral needs. Dhwani has also contributed as an Honorary Research Assistant on various projects at UCL, including the FINCH study aimed at reducing compulsory hospital readmissions, and the Wing's study focused on mental health outcomes. Previous roles include Community Support Facilitator at Harrow Mencap, English Tutor at Qin1, and internships in psychology at Shrimad Rajchandra Viklang Center and Atmaviswas Vidyalaya. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Sciences from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Amity University Mumbai. Additional training in software development has been pursued through Pluralsight bootcamps.
