Silas Baronda

Silas Baronda is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining complex systems. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Beam Dental since July 2017, Silas has progressed through roles including Lead and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on microservices and architectural solutions. Key accomplishments include creating a module system for microservices libraries, founding a dedicated CI/CD platform, and implementing JWT authentication for service interactions. Prior to Beam Dental, Silas held positions at OCLC, ICC, and Emerge Inc., with expertise in React, Ruby on Rails, and cloud technologies such as AWS. Silas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University and is certified as a CKAD.
