Chief Battery Scientist at Beam Global

Said Al-Hallaj has a diverse and extensive work experience. Said is currently serving as the Chief Battery Scientist at Beam Global, starting from March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Founder and CEO of NETenergy, a role they held since 2013.

Said is also involved in academia. Said has been an Adjunct Professor of Energy and Sustainability at Northwestern University since August 2020. Said has also worked as a Visiting Research Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, starting from August 2010.

Said's entrepreneurial ventures include being the Co-Founder and CEO of AllCell Technologies, a company they started in September 2008 and led until February 2022. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Marketing Trainee at Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth in 2016.

Before their entrepreneurial and academic roles, Said served as a Research Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology from September 2000 to May 2009.

Said Al-Hallaj completed their education in the field of Chemical Engineering. Said obtained their Bachelor's degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Said then pursued their Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university, studying from 1991 to 1994. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
