Erik Swensen

SVP, Secondary at Beam Lending

Erik Swensen is the Senior Vice President of Secondary at Beam Lending. Erik has over fifteen years of experience in the mortgage industry.

Erik started their career in 2005 as the President of Golden Ohana, a company they founded at the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, Hawaii. Erik and their team were responsible for creating new fundraising souvenirs at the center. In 2007, Erik began working as a Mortgage Specialist at Lucid Financial. Erik remained in this position until 2008 when they transitioned to Superior Lending. At Superior Lending, Erik originated mortgage loans for both Residential and Commercial purposes.

In 2013, Erik left Superior Lending to become a Loan Officer at City 1st Mortgage Services. Erik stayed with City 1st Mortgage Services until November of 2013 when they accepted their current position as Senior Vice President of Secondary at Beam Lending. In their current role, Erik is responsible for managing the secondary department and ensuring that loan files are compliant with secondary market guidelines.

Erik Swensen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, a BS in Finance, Economics, and Human Resource Management from Utah State University, and a degree in International Business from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
