James Garrett

James Garrett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. James began their career as a Student and Student Ambassador at the University of Southampton from October 2018 to September 2022. During this time, they also gained work experience at Menzies LLP in February 2017.

In 2017, James worked as a Waiter at Carluccio's where they developed valuable skills in teamwork, customer service, and leadership. James received recognition for their excellent customer service through numerous five-star TripAdvisor ratings and employee recognition awards.

From June 2019 to April 2020, James worked as a Waiter at Las Iguanas. In 2020, they gained a Sales and Value Advisory Associate role at SAP during a placement year, where they gained experience in the end-to-end technology sales process.

Starting in September 2022, James became an Account Executive at Softcat plc, the UK's largest value-added reseller. In this role, they successfully sold software and hardware solutions to corporate customers across different industries, addressing their technology-related business challenges.

Currently, James works as a Business Development Specialist at Beamery, starting in June 2023.

James Garrett pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the University of Southampton from 2018 to 2022.
