Remaking Beamish Project Officer - Community Participation at Beamish Museum

Natasha Anson currently serves as the Digital Volunteer Coordinator at Head of Steam Darlington Railway Museum since January 2022, where responsibilities include piloting digital volunteering initiatives and managing a volunteer program focused on transcribing and researching historical rail staff and accident reports. Concurrently, since January 2018, Natasha has held the position of Remaking Beamish Project Officer - Community Participation at Beamish Museum, contributing to the development of new exhibits while engaging with community members to incorporate their stories into visitor experiences. Previously, Natasha worked as Site Manager and Historic Property Steward for English Heritage from May 2016 to January 2018, enhancing visitor engagement and managing local stakeholder relationships. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Sales Assistant at John Lewis from February 2014 to July 2016. Natasha Anson holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage Management and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from the University of York.
