Fred Yentz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 2005, they owned CTLaunch, a telecommunications company, until 2016. Fred served as the CEO of ILS Technology LLC from 2007 to 2013, leading the company's transformation into a globally recognized Industrial IoT provider before overseeing its sale to Telit. From 2013 to 2020, they were the CEO of Telit IoT Platforms, expanding its portfolio and global reach. Fred has also been involved in various industry boards, including the Telecomunications Industry Association and the FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science Industry Advisory Board. In recent years, they have held executive positions in companies such as beamLive, IoT Launch LLC, and Tartabit, specializing in IoT consultancy, fractional COO roles, and IoT integration solutions. Additionally, Fred has contributed to the IoT industry as a board member of the IoT M2M Council and as an authority member of the Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority.

Fred Yentz completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1982 to 1988. From 1994 to 1996, they pursued an MBA and MS in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami.
