Kathryn Murray

Kathryn Murray has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Kathryn is currently working at Beam Therapeutics as a Principal Research Associate, and has held previous positions there as a Senior Research Associate II and Senior Research Associate. Prior to Beam Therapeutics, they worked at Guide Therapeutics as a Senior Research Associate. Earlier in their career, they were an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Kathryn also has experience in academia, working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Kathryn was also a Undergraduate Researcher and Residence Assistant during their time at Georgia Tech. Additionally, Kathryn gained experience as a Graduate Collegiate Member at the Society of Women Engineers. Finally, they started their career as an Intern at Deerland Enzymes and as a Lifeguard at Sweetwater Pools.

Kathryn Murray obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015. Kathryn further pursued their education at Georgia Institute of Technology and completed a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2017. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "How to Have Fewer, Better Meetings" from LinkedIn, although the exact month of completion is unknown.
