Jim Strain started their work experience in 1979 at Halliburton, where they held the role of Technical Advisor for 28 years, until 2007. Jim then joined Bear Creek Services as an Engineering Manager in 2007 and worked in that position until 2012. Following that, they became Vice President at Bear Creek Services in 2012.
Jim Strain attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1973 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they are a registered Petroleum Engineer in both the State of Louisiana, which they obtained in 1998, and the State of Mississippi, which they obtained in 1988.
