Bear River
Barrow Kwan is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of DevOps at both Bear River Associates and Amartha since January 2024. Prior to this, Barrow held the position of Leader, Software Engineering at Cisco from April 2023 to January 2024, and worked as a Consultant and Head of Infrastructure for the Merchant Platform at GoTo Group from February 2020 to January 2023, where significant contributions were made in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Barrow began a lengthy career at ThoughtWorks, Inc., spanning from April 1996 to February 2020, starting as an IS Manager and ultimately becoming an IT Manager, overseeing development environments and improving operational efficiencies. Barrow holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and two Associate degrees in Computer Science from College of San Mateo and Skyline College.
