Joonsoo Kim

Joonsoo Kim has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Joonsoo is currently the Head of Bear Robotics Korea at Bear Robotics, where they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bear Robotics from January 2021 to August 2021.

Before joining Bear Robotics, Joonsoo worked at the National Security Research Institute as a Senior Researcher and Manager from 2014 to 2020. Joonsoo also served as a Visiting Scholar at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 2018 to 2019.

Joonsoo began their career as an Intern at IBM Austin Research Lab in 2007. Joonsoo then worked as an Intern at Qualcomm from 2008 to 2009, and later as a Component Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2009 to 2014.

Overall, Joonsoo Kim has a solid background in research, engineering, and management roles across various companies and has gained ample experience in their field.

Joonsoo Kim pursued their education in Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Joonsoo completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University. Joonsoo then furthered their studies by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin as well.
