Bearing Service distributes bearings, power transmission products and related accessories to industrial customers throughout Michigan. We are located in Livonia, Michigan with branches in Kalamazoo and Brownstown. Bearing Service, Inc. was established in 1943 by Herbert Mann, a former executive of the Ahlberg Bearing Company. Mr. Mann recognized the declining role of ball bearing re-manufacturers, such as Ahlberg, as an opportunity for distributors of new bearings. For over 25 years, the Company operated successfully from a single, centralized location in Detroit, selling a variety of bearings and related products. The company is now an independently owned and operated third-generation multi-branch distributor of bearings and power transmission products. From our four branch locations and distribution center, Bearing Service services customers throughout Michigan, as well as those throughout the United States and abroad.
