Julian Urrego-Ortiz

Julian Urrego-Ortiz has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. They started their career as a Design Engineer at Area Ingenieros Consultores S.A.S in 2014. From 2016 to 2019, Julian worked as a Postgraduate Student at the Universidad de Antioquía.

In 2019, Julian joined Summan S.A.S as an Analyst de datos, where they focused on automating a cement production facility and implementing optimization strategies and machine learning models for predicting physical quantities of the production process.

In 2020, Julian moved to Cementos Argos, where they worked as a Data Scientist. Julian Urrego-Ortiz has a diverse education history. Julian pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Universidad de Antioquia from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a post-graduate diploma in Structural Engineering at Universidad EAFIT from 2014 to 2015. Julian also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, Universidad EAFIT, for the period of 2009 to 2014. Additionally, they have an "ingeniero civil" degree from Universidad EAFIT, although the specific dates of this degree are not provided.
