María Gandica has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. María began their career at Optimus Software C.A in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer, utilizing languages such as C++, C#, Java, Javascript, and PHP. María also gained experience with frameworks like ASP.net and JSP. In 2014, they joined Oja.la as a Software Engineer, focusing on PHP and JavaScript languages and utilizing Yii and jQuery frameworks. María also worked with MySQL as a data store. In 2016, María transitioned into the role of a Data Software Engineer at Oja.la, where they worked with the Go programming language and Amazon Web Services as a cloud provider. Moving on, in 2017 they joined Splice.com where they continued their work as a Data Software Engineer, specializing in Python and working with data stores such as BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redshift. María gained experience with cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. Most recently, as of September 2019, María has been working as a Data Software Engineer at Bearing AI, primarily utilizing Python and data stores including PostgreSQL and Snowflake. María is experienced in working with AWS as a cloud provider.
María Gandica pursued their education at the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, María completed the Data Engineering Specialization from Udacity in May 2019 and the From Data to Insights with Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera in December 2017.
