Jose Perez

Jose Perez currently serves as the Executive Chef at Archie Moores since September 2023, bringing extensive culinary expertise as the Owner/Head Chef of The Meat Truck, LLC, where gourmet sandwiches and smoked meats are specialties. From October 2018 to September 2023, Jose held the role of District Food Operations/Pitmaster at Bear's Smokehouse BBQ, overseeing operations as the Lead Smoker and Manager. Previous culinary experience includes a position as Sous Chef at Cast Iron Chef Chophouse. Jose's early career involved roles in sales and management at Scholar Painting and Sherwin-Williams, along with experience as a real estate agent at Mi Casa Realty. Jose earned a degree in Business Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Southern Connecticut State University between 1998 and 2002.
