Beate Uhse was the first Erotic retailer to be established in the world and continues to be one of Europe’s leading erotic retailers, for women, men and couples.

Beate Uhse, founded in 1946 by Beate Uhse-Rotermund, set out to educate women about sex, their sexual needs and to give advice and guidance to about how to avoid unwanted pregnancies in an era of limited knowledge.

Today we still believe in female empowerment and have enhanced this now with a truly modern approach, catering for everyone, no matter what their sexual needs or preferences.

We have adopted the motto “be you” as a tribute to our founder Beate Uhse, we want every individual to be themselves, express themselves and enjoy themselves, while being well educated how to satisfy your sexual needs.

We hold dear the Beate Uhse values and mission statement “to deliver sexual education and ensure sexual freedom for Women (and all sexes)”.

Beate Uhse continue to offer a simple and convenient shopping experience, with a guided approach through one of the broadest ranges of sexually related products and accessories available today, add to the mix our great portfolio of Fashion, Lingerie and Costumes to then tease and please our eyes as well as your bodies.
