Daniel Parker

Daniel Parker has extensive experience in accounting and royalty management, currently serving as Head of Royalties at Beatport since September 2025. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Napster (Rhapsody International) from April 2012 to September 2025, advancing through several positions including Sr. Director of Accounting Operations, where responsibilities included managing a small team and reporting directly to the CFO. As Director of Revenue & Royalty Accounting, Daniel facilitated cross-functional meetings to align company priorities and executed reassessments of historical accrual balances to achieve significant savings. Earlier roles included responsibilities for worldwide revenue and royalty accounting, ensuring timely payments to over 300 rightsholders. Daniel began the career at BEST BUY CO. OF MINNESOTA, INC. as Revenue & Cost Accounting Supervisor and has previous experience as a Senior Accountant at Roxio, Inc and as a Financial Analyst at Bridgespan Corp. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from Santa Clara University.
