Laren Agius

Laren Agius has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career at XLN Telecom Ltd, where they served as a Broadband Technical Team Leader, overseeing a team of technical support professionals and implementing training programs. They then moved on to TSI Voice & Data, where they established the account and project management departments, developing B2B relationships and delivering projects. At Papaya Ltd, Agius served as a Project Manager, supervising IT projects and implementing streamlined processes. They later joined acquiring.com as a Product Manager, implementing a framework that helped transition the company into a FinTech organization. Additionally, Agius co-founded Conjured Records, where they handled business development, A&R, marketing, and product development. They also hosted a monthly radio show at FRISKY and served as a Senior Product Manager at Utopia Music. Agius then joined Beatport, first as a Product Manager and later as the Head of Product, leading the company's advancements in the DJ Culture and establishing the product as a leading solution in the music industry. In the future, Agius will take on the role of Director of Product at Beatport.

Laren Agius attended Point Blank Music School from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in Music Production and Sound Engineering. They studied Sound Engineering & Music Production during this time. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, Laren attended STC Training Malta and received an International Diploma in Computer Studies, specializing in Software Development & Networking. Alongside their education, Laren also obtained various certifications, including Agile Project Management - Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I), PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and more.
