Rik Parkinson

Rik Parkinson is an experienced professional in the DJ and music technology industry, currently serving as Director of Product Strategy for the DJ Group at Beatport since January 2023. Previously, Parkinson held various leadership roles, including Director of Partnerships & Artist Development and Director of Strategic Development at inMusic, where the focus was on revolutionizing how DJs access music. Additional experience includes a Consultant position at algoriddim GmbH and managerial roles in product planning at AlphaTheta EMEA Limited and Pioneer Europe, where contributions were made to the development of industry-leading products and software. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Leeds Beckett University, alongside A Levels from Runshaw College and GCSEs from St. Michael's CE High School.
