Tashiana Tucker has a diverse work experience. Tashiana is currently working as a School Based Legislative Advocate for the Texas Public Charter Schools Association, where they are a member of the Amplifying Advocacy Project (AMP). In this role, Tashiana engages policymakers to promote quality education for every child and community.

Previously, Tashiana served as the Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement at Beatrice Mayes Institute Charter School. Their responsibilities included building connections between the school and the local community through proactive engagement with lawmakers and organizing events to showcase the school's commitment to progress.

Tashiana also has experience as a Board Member for Inspiring Minds Youth and as a Teach For America 2020 Corps Member, where they taught and implemented data-driven strategies to improve student performance.
