Daan Leijten

Daan Leijten has over 20 years of work experience in facility and IT services. Daan started their career as Assistant Manager of Conference & Banqueting at Principal Hotels in London in 2000. In 2003, they became Facility Manager at Westcord Hotels in Ameland, and in 2005, they joined ROC de Leijgraaf as Facility Manager. Since 2009, Daan has been working at Beatrix College, where they currently hold the position of Head of Facility Services & IT Services. At Beatrix College, they are responsible for various departments, including concierges, front office, ICT, catering, and more. Daan has also been involved in the construction projects of Reeshof College and Beatrix College.

Daan Leijten started their education in 1997 at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Facility Services. Daan completed this program in 2002. Later, in 2008, Daan attended the IFMEC post HBO opleiding for a year, specializing in Facility Services.
