Joyce Ross is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in the charitable sector. Since October 2015, Joyce has served as the Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager at Beatson Cancer Charity, where responsibilities include developing key income streams and enhancing the charity’s profile while managing costs to align with its strategic vision. Prior to this role, Joyce spent over 12 years at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, progressing from Senior Community Fundraiser to Partnerships Fundraising Manager, focusing on community engagement and event organization. Joyce also has experience as a Treks & Challenges Fundraiser, promoting adventurous fundraising initiatives, and as an Executive Secretary, providing administrative support to the Chief Executive. Earlier in Joyce's career, a role as PA/Secretary at CRGP Limited involved providing secretarial support within a busy architectural and surveying practice. Education was completed at Claremont High School in East Kilbride from 1974 to 1977.

Beatson Cancer Charity
We exist to enhance the experience, treatment, outcomes and wellbeing of all current and former Beatson patients and their families in the broadest possible sense. Working in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the Beatson Cancer Charity delivers non-clinical services and funding enhancements in cancer treatment, care and research at the Beatson that will contribute to changing the face of cancer treatment on a local, national and international scale. Significant funding provides additional patient and family resources and facilities, innovative service developments and enhanced medical equipment. The charity also provides further staff training and development as well as additional resources including clinical nurse specialists, radiography, physics and research-based staff.
