Chris Saunders, BSc, PharmD, MPharm, BCPS, BCSCP, is a seasoned clinical staff pharmacist and clinical informatics coordinator at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, a position held since December 2016. Prior experience includes serving as Officer in Charge (Pharmacist) in the US Army from January 2013 to December 2016, and holding pharmacist roles at St. Francis Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A pharmacist from June 2002 to January 2010 at RITE AID, Chris began a professional journey as a laboratory technician and quality control analyst earlier in the career. Educational achievements encompass a BCSCP certification in sterile compounding in July 2023, and a Master of Science in Pharmacy Outcomes and Policy from the University of Florida, alongside other advanced qualifications in pharmacotherapy and pharmacy regulation. Chris holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz School of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of the West Indies.
