Bernard Stockermans

Bernard Stockermans has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bernard worked at Beauhurst as a Developer, where they were responsible for data science tasks such as plotting data for reports and fulfilling data queries using programming languages like R and Python. Bernard also contributed to software development by creating research tools and a natural language processing and machine learning system. Prior to that, Bernard interned at YouthSight as a Higher Education Market Research Intern, where they conducted desk research projects and coded survey responses. Bernard also worked as a freelance Chinese Translator for Cactus Communications and Aeria Games & Entertainment. Additionally, Bernard served as a Translator/Interpreter at Hangzhou Cathedral, where they translated and interpreted church communications. Bernard was an English Tutor at Figlie di S. Anna and an English Instructor at Annex Community School. Bernard also worked as a Spanish Tutor at Mount Allison University and gained experience as a Sales and Shop Assistant at Berry's Home Electronics, where they interacted primarily with Spanish and Japanese speaking customers.

Bernard Stockermans completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from Zhejiang University in 2009. Bernard then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham, which they completed in 2012. After that, they continued their education at the University of Nottingham and obtained a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Biosciences in 2013.
