Dustin Ames

Dustin Ames has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Chicago Children's Center for Behavioral Health-Universal Health Services as a Nurse Educator/Charge Nurse. In 2014, they joined IlliniCare Health Plan, Inc. as an RN Case Manager until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Cigna-HealthSpring as an RN Care Manager. In 2019, they joined UHS where they held various roles including Lead Intake Clinician, Assistant Director of Assessment and Referrals, and Associate Administrator. Lastly, in 2023, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Beaumont Behavioral Health.

Dustin Ames attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a focus on Registered Nursing. In July 2017, they obtained a certification as a Registered Nurse from the Michigan Department of State. Later, in November 2018, they completed a certification titled "Learning How to Increase Learner Engagement" from LinkedIn. Additionally, in December 2018, they obtained a certification in "Instructional Design: Working with SMEs" also from LinkedIn.
