Nathan Mayo is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in various clinical roles. Currently serving as a Clinical Navigator at Beaumont Behavioral Health since January 2019, Nathan previously held the position of Partner and Director of Clinical Operations at Oliver Winston Behavioral Urgent Care, where the focus was on enhancing access to mental health treatment. With a solid foundation as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Bluegrass.org and extensive experience as a Mobile Crisis Counselor at Pathways Inc., Nathan has demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and patient assessment since 2001. Additionally, Nathan served in the US Navy Reserve as an Intelligence Specialist, further honing skills in situational analysis and diagnostic interpretation. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands, along with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

A 144-bed facility, Beaumont Behavioral Health provides a full continuum of inpatient behavioral health services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility will provide a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
