Kim Brent

Kim Brent is an experienced photographic professional currently serving as Chief Photographer at Beaumont Enterprise since December 2019, following a tenure as Staff Photographer from September 2014 to December 2019. Brent's extensive career in photography spans multiple publications, including serving as a Staff Photographer at Monroe News for over twelve years, where responsibilities included video production and feature story writing. Previous positions held include Staff Photographer roles at The Frederick News-Post and The Citizen, focusing on general assignment work and self-generated stories. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Photojournalism and American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan.
