Talha Riaz

Talha Riaz is a skilled program manager with extensive experience in research and development within the medical device industry. Currently serving as Program Manager - R&D at BVI Medical since March 2021, Talha leads cross-functional teams on key strategic projects involving capital equipment systems and sterile single-use accessories. Prior to this role, Talha worked at Boston Scientific from February 2013 to March 2021, holding positions such as R&D Technical Lead for new product development and R&D Engineer I/II, contributing to the development of single-use medical devices and executing design changes for sustaining engineering projects. Talha's earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and endoscopy R&D co-op at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, along with a design internship at the National Engineering and Scientific Commission. Talha is currently pursuing a Master of Global Business Administration at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, having completed a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with focuses on mechanical design and bio-mechanics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
