Andee Zomerman

Language Arts Teacher at Beaverton School District

Andee Zomerman has a diverse work experience history. In 1994, they started working as a Substitute Teacher for Evergreen Public Schools and continued in that role until 1999. From 1996 to 2002, they served as the Director of Youth Ministry at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. In 2008, they worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Everett Public School District until 2010. Starting in 2012, Andee worked as a Freelance Writer for their own company, AndeeZomerman.com. In 2015, they became a Radio Talk Show Host for KKPZ 1330 AM Radio and a Podcaster for Stumptown Christian: Conversations in the None Zone. Andee continued podcasting until 2017. Andee Zomerman's education history includes obtaining an endorsement in School Librarian/School Library Media Specialist from Portland State University, which was completed in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders: Education of the Deaf, Education K-8 from California State University, Fresno, starting in 1989 and finishing in 1992. Andee also holds additional certifications in School Library/Media Specialist K-12 from Portland State University and Teacher Certification K-8 from California State University, Fresno.
