Ann Kennedy

Ann Kennedy's work experience includes a variety of roles in the education field. Ann began their career as a Student Teacher at Woodburn School District in 2012. Ann then worked as a Substitute Teacher at Salem Keizer Public Schools from 2013 to 2014, where they followed lesson plans and ensured a safe learning environment. Ann also served as a Facility Supervisor at Oregon University System from 2011 to 2012. Ann worked as a Lifeguard at Western Oregon University from 2009 to 2012.

In 2014, Ann joined Beaverton School District as a 6-8 Mathematics Intervention teacher. Ann later taught 7th-grade Mathematics from 2015 to 2016 and 6th-grade Math from 2016 to 2021. During their time at Beaverton School District, they took on additional responsibilities as a Library and Instructional Technology Teacher, where they helped teachers implement digital lessons, introduced new applications, and created helpful how-to videos.

Since 2021, Ann has been serving as a Teacher on Special Assignment at Beaverton School District. In this role, they have helped create building-wide schedules and coordinated field trips, among other tasks.

Ann Kennedy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Levels Math Education at Western Oregon University from 2007 to 2012. Ann then went on to pursue a Masters of Education degree with a specialization in English for Speakers of Other Languages at the same university from 2011 to 2012.
