Cory Edmonds has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Teacher at the Beaverton School District since 2015. Prior to this, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Bellevue School District for a year, where they taught Sophomore Honors Literature and Composition and provided one-on-one support to a student on the autism spectrum. Before that, Cory worked as a Secondary Teacher at the Vancouver Public Schools for two years, teaching multiple subjects and coaching football and basketball. They also worked as a Freelance Editor at Hothouse Enterprises, where they had editing responsibilities and created lesson plan guides. Cory's first professional role was as a Resident Assistant at Whitworth University, where they served the needs of dormitory residents, organized events, and facilitated conflict resolution.
Cory Edmonds earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from Whitworth University between 2007 and 2010. Following this, Cory pursued further education at Pacific University and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, in July 2012, Cory obtained an Oregon Teaching License- Initial I certification.
