Emily Buck

School Counseling Intern - Southridge High School at Beaverton School District

Emily Buck has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Emily is currently employed as a Classified Support OAII in the Community Transition Program at Beaverton School District starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Target as a Specialty Sales Consultant and Guest Advocate from September 2021 to April 2022.

Emily also has extensive experience with Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Emily started as a Clinician/Instructor in May 2017, then worked as a Mentor and Site Manager before transitioning to a Consultant role in June 2018. In October 2017, they became a Lead Consultant, overseeing instructional excellence, staff development, and collaborating with professionals. Emily served in these roles until May 2020.

In addition, Emily has worked as a Research Assistant at UCLA in various labs. Emily was a Lead Research Assistant at the Social Interaction and Social Stigma Lab from September 2015 to March 2016, where they contributed to surveys, data entry, literature searches, and conducted specific studies. At the UCLA Social Communication Lab, they worked as a Research Assistant from February 2016 to June 2016. Emily also worked as a Research Assistant at the UCLA Teaching and Learning Lab from January 2014 to March 2014.

Emily Buck completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at UCLA from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they furthered their studies in Psychology at UCLA Extension without obtaining a degree. Later, Emily pursued a Master of Education - MEd in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling, although the specific start and end years are not provided. Emily also holds several additional certifications, including Heartsaver CPR-AED & First Aid obtained in August 2022 from the American Heart Association, Human Research - Social & Behavioral Researchers & Staff obtained in October 2017 from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative, and QPR Gatekeeper obtained in April 2015 from the QPR Institute.
