Emily Pollard

Humanities Teacher at Beaverton School District

Emily Pollard has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education, non-profit organizations, and fundraising. From 2014 onward, they worked as a Humanities Teacher for the Beaverton School District. Prior to that, they served as a Development Manager at Africa Bridge from 2011 to 2013, where they were responsible for individual giving, school outreach, social media, and marketing initiatives. Emily also coordinated grantseeking efforts, researched new funding opportunities, and wrote proposals. Before their role at Africa Bridge, they worked as a Development Associate for the Oregon Symphony from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Emily has experience as a Teacher for the North Clackamas School District from 2007 to 2009. Emily also held a position as a Volunteer Grants Coordinator for the American Lung Association in Oregon in 2008, where they researched funding opportunities, corresponded with program staff at foundations, and wrote grant proposals.

Emily Pollard attended Lewis & Clark College from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Teaching.
