Eric Cole

Eric Cole has a diverse range of work experience. Eric started their career as an intern for US Senator Jeff Merkley in May 2011, and later became a Staff Assistant for the senator from November 2012 to January 2014. In 2012, they also worked as a Field Staff for the Defazio For Congress campaign. In 2016, they served as a Summer Learning Program Mentor at the University of Portland, and then became a Language Arts Teacher at the Beaverton School District.

Eric Cole has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon, which they obtained in 2012. Eric then pursued further education and completed a Master of Social Science degree in Politics at the University of Cape Town from 2014 to 2015. Following this, Eric obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Secondary Education from the University of Portland, which they completed in 2016. Eric also holds the Oregon Preliminary Teaching License from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission.
