After the shock of the 2016 election, Jameesa, alongside like-minded friends, sought to leverage professional skills and resources to make a positive impact on values of love, decency, and inclusion. Jameesa's extensive background in education includes roles at Vancouver Public Schools and Beaverton School District, along with a long tenure at Los Angeles Unified School District.
