Julia Cruz

Julia Cruz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Julia began their career as a Marketing Intern at Kodak de Mexico in 1999. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Ideas y Conceptos con Mercadotecnia, where they achieved an 80% closing rate in telemarketing sales. Julia then transitioned to Empresas Guadalupe S.A. de C.V, where they served as a Purchasing Assistant and was responsible for coordinating the purchase and delivery of supplies.

In 2002, Julia held the role of Marketing Assistant at MOETTI OFFICE S.A DE C.V, conducting market research and maintaining a database of potential customers. Julia later joined Beaverton School District as an Instructional Assistant/Social Support Liaison, assisting students and teachers in K-5 classrooms and translating various school and district documents.

Julia then transitioned to Columbia Sportswear as an Ecommerce Customer Care Representative, excelling in sales and providing accurate product information to consumers. Julia returned to Beaverton School District in 2006, taking on the role of Instructional Assistant/Social Support Liaison once again.

From 2013 to 2014, Julia worked as an Instructional Assistant at Hillsboro School District, where they translated documents and provided instructional support. Julia then returned to Beaverton School District in 2017, first as an Instructional Assistant and then as a 1st Grade Teacher in 2018. During this time, they translated documents, assisted students and teachers, and implemented planned activities.

In 2019, Julia joined Tigard-Tualatin School District as a First Grade Teacher, adapting materials for distance learning and collaborating with families. Julia recently joined Beaverton School District in 2020 as a 4th grade TWI Teacher, where they design and implements distance learning lessons and collaborates with families.

Julia Cruz has an education history that includes a Master of Arts of Teaching degree from George Fox University, which they earned from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Escuela Normal para Educadoras de Guadalajara, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Julia Cruz completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Universidad Univer Loma Bonita between 1997 and 2000.
