Kellen Hawley

Kellen Hawley has a diverse work experience that spans from 2011 to 2019. Kellen started as a Manny Basketball Association (MBA) member at Kids Unlimited in 2011 and worked there until November of the same year. In 2015, they assumed several roles such as Youth Sports Director at YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, Head Coach/Trainer/Hoop Monitor at Beaverton Hoop YMCA, and Behavioral Youth Counselor at Youth Villages. Kellen also held the position of Head Basketball Coach at Cordova Amateur Youth Athletic Corporation (CAYAC) for a year from March 2015 to June 2016. Kellen then worked as a Recreation Operations Leader at Bidarki Recreation Center from September 2014 to June 2015. In 2018, they became a Student-Teacher at Portland State University, College of Education until August 2019. Lastly, Kellen currently works as a Physical Education Teacher at Beaverton School District starting from August 2019.

Kellen Hawley started their education history at Chemeketa Community College from 2006 to 2008, studying Educational Leadership and Administration. They then attended Southern Oregon University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. In 2018 to 2019, Kellen pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Portland State University. Following this, in 2021, Kellen obtained a Subject Area Endorsement in Physical Education from Pacific University. Most recently, from 2023 to 2024, Kellen attended Portland State University for their graduate studies in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.
