Matt Smith

Matt Smith currently serves as the Principal of Tumwater Middle School within the Beaverton School District, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Matt Smith was the Assistant Principal at Westview High School and spent several years at the International School of Prague, where responsibilities included Middle School Principal and Associate Principal, as well as serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher. Earlier career experiences include a position as Secondary School Principal and IB Diploma Coordinator at the International School of Estonia, and social studies teaching roles at Colegio Internacional de Carabobo and the Beaverton School District. Matt Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Linfield University and a Master of Education in International Education from Endicott College, along with an Initial Administration Licensure in Educational Leadership from Concordia Portland.
