Shawn McVicar

Shawn McVicar has extensive work experience starting in 1998 as a Bike Mechanic/Manager at Dr. J's Bicycle Shop, where they were responsible for running the shop, ordering parts and bicycles, maintaining and repairing bicycles, managing the cash drawer, helping customers, and organizing and cleaning the shop.

In 1999, Shawn worked as a Substitute Teacher at Lompoc Unified School District, teaching all grades and culminating in a four-week assignment teaching "Alternative Curriculum" at Vandenberg Middle School.

From 1999 to 2013, Shawn worked as a Teacher at Midland School, where they taught various subjects.

In 2013, Shawn joined The Knox School of Santa Barbara as a Teacher, and continued in that role until 2016.

From 2016 to 2021, Shawn worked as a STEM Teacher at Lompoc Unified School District.

Currently, since 2021, Shawn is employed as a Middle School Math Teacher at Beaverton School District.

Shawn McVicar attended California State University-San Bernardino from 1991 to 1992. However, it is not known whether they obtained a degree or pursued any field of study during this time. Following this, McVicar enrolled at Humboldt State University from 1992 to 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Wildlife Biology.
