Tige McSwain Sr.

Tige McSwain Sr. began their work experience as a Teacher / Coach for the Beaverton School District in August 1999 without a specified end date. In March 1996, they transitioned to a similar role with Portland Public Schools, where they worked until June 1999. In August 2017, McSwain Sr. joined George Fox University as an Assistant Football Coach, a position they currently hold.

Tige McSwain Sr. began their education journey in 1988 at Santa Clara University, where they studied Computer Software Engineering. Tige then moved on to Cabrillo College from 1989 to 1991, pursuing Early Childhood Education and Teaching. In 1995, Tige enrolled at Concordia University-Portland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Secondary Education and Teaching in 1998. Tige furthered their education at Concordia University-Portland from 2002 to 2008, earning a Master of Arts (MA) in Secondary Education and Teaching / Curriculum and Instruction.
