Alexander van Nierop

Alexander van Nierop is an experienced underwriting manager with expertise in Financial Lines and Cyber related risks. Currently serving as Underwriting Manager for Financial Lines in the Benelux at Beazley since October 2018, Alexander focuses on developing a specialty book of business in this region. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at Aon, where Alexander held multiple leadership roles, including Broking Director of the Financial Services Group and Cyber Broking Solutions Leader, and was instrumental in establishing innovative cyber insurance products. Alexander's background also encompasses broking director roles focused on property and financial institutions, along with experience in corporate finance at Fortis Bank. Academic credentials include a degree in Business Economics from the Rotterdam School of Management and a Master’s in Business Administration from Stellenbosch University.
