Hiten Parmar

Hiten Parmar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hiten currently holds the position of Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) at Beazley, a role they started in 2022. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2022, they worked at HSBC as the Interim Global Head of CTO & CISO Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and SRM.

From 2021 to 2022, Hiten served as the Digital Procurement Transformation Practice Lead for UKI & Europe at The Hackett Group. During this time, they played a key role in re-establishing and integrating the practice across the UK and Europe.

Before joining The Hackett Group, from 2020 to 2021, Hiten was at GSK, where they held the position of Head of IT & Digital Procurement Separation - Consumer Business Spin Off. In this role, they worked closely with the Business leadership team to drive technology strategy and capabilities during a business divestiture.

Hiten took a personal career break from 2019 to 2020. Prior to their break, they had a long tenure at UBS, starting in 2005 and ending in 2019. During their time at UBS, they held multiple Group C-suite leadership roles, focusing on strategic planning and operational enhancements.

Starting their career in 1999, Hiten worked at Deloitte Consulting as an IT/Sourcing Advisory and Programme Lead. Before that, from 1995 to 1999, they worked at Thomson Reuters as a Technology Graduate and Project Manager.

Hiten Parmar holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Management and Finance from the University of Westminster Business School. Hiten has additional certifications in UK Government Commercial Assessment, Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and ITIL v3 Master.
