James Wright

James Wright has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. James started their career as a System Support Analyst at Capita SIMS in 1996 and worked there for two years. James then moved to Financial Times in 1998, where they served as an IT Manager, responsible for managing the IT team of the media monitoring sub-division. In 2002, they joined Aviva plc as an e-Commerce Design Consultant.

In 2004, James joined Beazley as the Global IT Infrastructure Manager, overseeing IT infrastructure on a global scale. James later became the Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations, responsible for the management and functioning of IT operations within the company. In 2011, they took on the role of Business Technology Manager, where they managed the IT relationship for Specialty Lines, Marine business divisions, Underwriting, Claims Operations, and group rating.

James then became the Head of IT for the US at Beazley in 2012, where they were responsible for all IT services and projects delivered to Beazley in the USA. James worked closely with the US senior management team and Beazley Shared Services.

In 2017, James was promoted to the position of Head of Digital Platforms at Beazley, overseeing the company's digital platforms. Finally, in 2021, they assumed the role of Head of Technology - Beazley Digital, where they are currently responsible for leading technology initiatives for Beazley.
