Melanie Carter

Melanie Carter is a Cyber and Tech Underwriter at Beazley since July 2021, previously holding the position of Assistant Underwriter. Prior to joining Beazley, Melanie worked at the University of South Carolina from October 2018 to May 2021 as a Student Assistant in the Office of Career Management, guiding students in their career preparation. Melanie also served as an Athletic Academic Monitor, entering data to track athletes' attendance and reporting inconsistencies. In the summer of 2020, Melanie interned in the Specialty Underwriting Department at The Hanover Insurance Group, gaining experience in underwriting workflows and data entry. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of South Carolina, earned in 2021.
