Richard Atkin

Richard Atkin is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and strategic management. Currently serving as Head of Group Technology Delivery at Beazley since March 2023, Richard is responsible for global technology delivery capabilities essential for business modernization. Prior roles include Chief Information Officer for Chubb in Europe, Eurasia, and Africa, and Global Programme Manager during Chubb's merger with ACE, where Richard achieved significant integration and cost-saving objectives. Richard has also held senior positions with Zurich Insurance, Selfnet Holdings, and the Financial Services Authority, among others, showcasing expertise in delivering complex technology solutions across multiple regions. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Middlesex University and a BSc (Hons) in Computers and Communication Systems from the University of Greenwich.
