Katia Banina has a diverse work experience in the fintech industry. Katia started as a Collaboration & Community Specialist at Reuters in 2003 and later worked as an Equity & Fixed Income Research Intern at Raiffeisen Bank Russia. Katia then joined Thomson Reuters, where they held multiple roles, including Customer Success Team Manager, EMEA Business Manager for Thomson Reuters Eikon, and Partners Platform Business Manager. After that, they worked at Refinitiv as a Proposition Manager for Desktop Solutions and later as a Product Management Director for Financial Workflows & Core Framework. Katia then moved to London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as the Director of Product Management and Wintermute as the Head of Product. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of Bebop, a web3 trading app and API that focuses on seamless and efficient crypto trading for everyone.
Katia Banina received their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the State University - Higher School of Economics from 2001 to 2005. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Charterted Alternative Investments Analyst from the CAIA Association in 2007.
