Johannes Grove Nielsen

Johannes Grove Nielsen serves as a Board Member at Voldgiftsinstituttet - The Danish Institute of Arbitration and as Chairperson of the Board at SunStone Maritime Group A/S, both positions held since March 2025. Additionally, Johannes is a member of the Advisory Board for the IBA Maritime Committee and co-chairs the IBA Maritime & Transport Committee since January 2021. Johannes has been a partner and head of the Dispute Resolution Group and Shipping Group at Bech-Bruun since August 2003, progressing through various roles from Junior Associate to Senior Associate. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Shipping & Logistics from Copenhagen Business School, an LLM from the University of Sydney, and a BA and Masters of Law from the University of Copenhagen, along with additional education from esteemed institutions such as INSEAD and Wharton Executive Education.
