Alicia Deak

Alicia Deak is a Senior Data Scientist at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. since December 2022, following a position as a Graduate Student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from August 2020 to May 2022. Alicia's experience includes a student internship at the United States Air Force in 2021 and a temporary role in mortgage default services at Oxford Solutions in 2020. Prior to entering the data science field, Alicia served as a Personal Banking Manager at both Northwest Bank and Standard Bank, and held various teaching positions in mathematics at Pittsburgh Public Schools and City Charter High School. Alicia holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education Mathematics from Manhattan University, and an Associate of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from SUNY Orange.
