Scot Hughes

Scot Hughes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering. Currently serving as Program Manager at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. since 2018, Scot previously held the role of Principal Engineer at the same company from 2009 to 2017. Scot's military background includes a decade of service as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy, with two tours of duty on fast-attack submarines and a position as Current Operations Officer in the Submarine Force of the US Pacific Fleet, along with experience as a NROTC Instructor and Student Advisor at Carnegie Mellon University. Scot holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and has earned two master's degrees: a Master of Public Management in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Applied Business from Waynesburg University.
