Dr. Clemens Kunkel

Dr. Clemens Kunkel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales development and public sector management. Currently serving as the Head of Sales Development for the Public Sector in Austria at Bechtle since 2019, Dr. Kunkel oversees coordination and support for various Bechtle-AT companies and leads public project initiatives, establishing relationships with manufacturers, partners, and clients. Prior roles include Head of Tenderdesk & Bidmanagement at Ricoh Austria GmbH, where responsibilities encompassed international tenders and contract negotiations, and Business Development Executive at Capgemini Consulting Österreich AG, focusing on the public sector. Earlier experience includes serving as CIO and Head of ICT Operations at Bundesbeschaffung GmbH, managing a substantial annual budget and overseeing a dedicated team. Dr. Kunkel holds a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from the University of Vienna, along with an engineering degree in Nachrichtentechnik und Elektronik from HTL Schellinggasse.
